Business Technology Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic:
•Conceptualize and develop strategy for design and implementation of mission-critical data / Information Security systems, diverse communication and collaboration technologies to drive business efficiency and meet existing and future business requirements.
•Provide technical policy advice to the Axxela management team and strategic partners on Information Systems requirements in a changing business environment.
•Ensure implementation of organizational Business Technology policies and operational procedures for infrastructure, security, service support and service delivery functions in accordance with Business Technology strategy, organizational direction, relevant legislation and industry best practices.
•Ensure resilient Disaster Recovery strategy and plan that guarantees continuous business operation in line with recovery time objectives agreed; manage interface with service providers to test-run recovery procedures.
•Ensure continuous delivery of Business Technology services through end-to-end Business Technology service oversight [people, process and technologies], service level management, and Business Technology systems performance monitoring.
•Coordinate and direct automation projects related to major information & security systems and infrastructure and business processes.
•Develop & update a roadmap that aligns with business with clear, goal-oriented projects, plans and initiatives that drives Business Technology agility and stability.
•Build and update a tailored Service Management Roadmap and Service Catalogue that clearly articulate the depth and breadth of Business Technology services and provide clarity around service levels and capabilities.
Service Delivery Management:
•Manage and set priorities for the design, maintenance, development, and evaluation of all infrastructure systems.
•Provide management oversight for all outsourced service providers, negotiate SLAs, define and implement service improvement. Evaluate business requirements and determine optimal technical approach for business continuity / solution delivery.
•Evaluate and direct the installation, setup and integration of new enterprise systems and storage and/or enhancement to existing systems.
•Advise and manage implementation of system configuration baselines. Manage Business, Service and Resource capacity planning. Benchmark enterprise technology with best practices.
•Administer all facets of Business Technology budgeting, which includes the development of accurate forecasting methodology and baseline metrics, preparation of budgets, development of service-based, execution and reporting of Business Technology delivery spend.
•Review, validate and revise SLAs to support ongoing business needs; Assess vendor performance and align business needs to contracts; Build a Business Technology Satisfaction Report Card underpinned by a Service Improvement Curriculum to track how goals of key business stakeholders are met.
•Build strategic partnership with critical vendors and Business Technology suppliers and optimize spend through benchmark with industry norms.
Information Security Management:
•Identify, develop, build and maintain a security strategy and model, security-related procedures, standards and policies to protect the privacy and integrity of data reduce risks and exposures to cyber threats, whilst enhancing business efficiency.
•Coordinate all security operational activities including security issue diagnosis, perimeter and critical system penetration testing projects, assessment of security weakness for mitigation effectiveness, assessment of desired operational and generation of initiatives to achieve an optimal model aimed at improving incident response.
•Evaluate, report and suggest new ideas to relate to identifying and closing security loopholes within the business. Provide guidance in assessing and evaluating information security risks and monitor compliance with security standards and appropriate policies.
•Examine impact of new technologies / applications on the organization’s overall information security. Establish processes to ensure compliance.
•Performs other assigned duties as delegated from time to time.
Essential Requirements:
•Minimum 2:1 in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or other related areas.
•Minimum 10 years’ cognate work experience within the Information Technology department, the last 5 years of which must have been at Management level in a reputable and structured business environment.
•Experience must include business process re-engineering or system analysis, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) implementation and Project Management

Contracting & Supply Chain Manager
Duties and Responsibilities:
Strategic
- Developing and implementing a comprehensive sourcing strategy aligned with the organisation’s operational and commercial
- Conducting regular market analysis and benchmarking to identify sourcing opportunities, cost optimisation levers, and supply chain
- Ensuring that all significant procurement activities are supported by competitive tendering, robust commercial evaluation, and sound market
- Maintaining a current and comprehensive understanding of market conditions, pricing trends, and supplier landscapes relevant to the organisation’s operations.
Supply Chain and Logistics Management
- Oversee the planning and execution of procurement strategies for major projects and key categories across Axxela and all strategic business units (“SBUs”).
- Translate business unit needs into actionable procurement and sourcing plans that support specific strategies and operational
- Lead strategic sourcing and negotiations to secure favorable terms, ensuring value for money while upholding quality, delivery timelines, and environment, health, safety, sustainability, and quality (EHSSQ)
- Manage the entire procurement lifecycle, from vendor identification and prequalification to contract administration and post-contract performance
- Drive innovation and cost reduction initiatives by identifying alternative suppliers, market opportunities, and process optimisation
- Provide guidance on complex procurement transactions and contract interpretations to mitigate legal and financial
- Developing and implementing supply chain risk management frameworks to identify, assess, mitigate, and monitor supply chain disruptions and single-source dependencies.
- Coordinating with Projects, Engineering, Operations, and Finance teams to ensure procurement activities are fully integrated with project execution plans and operational
- Overseeing import processes, customs clearance, and duty exemption applications and engagement with relevant regulatory
Contract Development, Negotiation and Management
- Maintaining a comprehensive contracts register covering all active agreements, obligations, milestones, renewal dates, and variation
- Working closely with the Legal team to ensure that all contracts are legally sound, commercially appropriate, and adequately protective of the organisation’s
- Managing contract disputes, claims, and variations in a timely and commercially disciplined
- Ensuring that contractual obligations are actively monitored and enforced throughout the contract
Vendor and Supplier Management
- Building, managing, and continuously developing a panel of qualified vendors and suppliers capable of meeting Axxela’s technical, commercial, and operational
- Establishing and maintaining a structured vendor prequalification, onboarding, performance management, and offboarding
- Oversee vendor performance evaluations and appraisals against agreed KPIs and SLAs to ensure compliance, reliability, and continuous improvement and taking appropriate corrective action where performance falls
- Maintaining an up-to-date and comprehensive vendor database and approved vendor list in line with internal controls and governance
- Lead vendor relationship management activities to ensure supplier collaboration, performance, and
alignment with Axxela’s business needs.
- Ensure all contractual obligations are met and escalations are promptly
- Managing strategic supplier relationships at a senior level, including escalation handling, relationship maintenance, and long-term partnership
Governance, Compliance & Reporting
- Ensure full compliance with company policies, internal control frameworks, and procurement
- Lead internal reviews and prepare reports for senior management on service delivery performance, project outcomes, and improvement
- Designing, implementing, and continuously improving procurement and contracting processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency, transparency, and
- Preparing and presenting regular management reports on procurement performance, spend analytics, savings delivery, contract status, and supply chain
Team Leadership and Stakeholder Management
- Leading, developing, and managing the contracting and supply chain team, fostering a culture of commercial excellence, accountability, continuous improvement, and ethical
- Setting clear performance objectives for team members, conducting regular performance reviews, and supporting individual development and career
- Acting as a trusted advisor and strategic partner to the business, proactively engaging with senior stakeholders across
- Representing the organisation in external forums, industry bodies, regulatory engagements, and supplier/partner negotiations as
- Building and maintaining strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders to ensure that the contracting and supply chain function is perceived as an enabler of business
Essential Requirements:
- A first degree from a recognized tertiary institution (e.g., Engineering, Business Administration, Finance, or related field) with a minimum of second-class
- Minimum of 10 years’ relevant work experience in Procurement, Supply Chain, Contracting, or Operations in a structured and reputable organization (preferably Oil & Gas, FMCG, or Telecom).
- Relevant professional certifications such as CIPS, CPM, CPSM are an added
